Mid Span Joints are used to connect two lengths of overhead line conductor together between the pylon towers and are classed as overhead tension joints.

2- Min. Falling Load/Slip strength after compression – 95 % of Conductor
3- Resistance of mid span joint is less than 75 % of resistance of equal length of conductor
